Is there a significant enough difference to choose a firearm (hell's canyon vs Mesa) purely on twist? I'd love to shoot 140-195 grs out of it

I've been eyeing the mesa myself. Lipseys has an exclusive model and theirs has the 1:8 twist. Just fyi might be worth looking into. Many gun dealers use them as a distributor so should be fairly easy to get

Couple other little things different too. There's a video on YouTube also.

I dont think the browning is a bad choice at all either. But I already have a few of them and time to change things up maybe

I don't have any browning but I've been wanting a hell's canyon. I have a couple 700s and a custom built off a 700. Love the bolt throw on the hell's canyon!

Personally me if I am buying a 28 Nosler it would be soley to shoot heavy bullets especially if you are shooting the 195 gain EOL. If I recall a 28 Nosler from a 26" barrel should push those around 3,000 fps and with a BC of .755 that would be a hell of a flat shooting rifle. I would opt for the 1 in 8 twist and not look back.

Absolutely an 8 twist. The 28 is best with 180s/195s.
Here’s a good one!😁😁
