What bullet are you all using for elk out of a 270win?

I'd look pretty hard at Barnes TTSX. Pretty tough hunting bullet to beat.

140 grain accubond, 150 grain partition, ttsx, all good elk medicine.

I shoot the 150 gr. Partition and it works incredibly well.

Just ordered some Barnes tsk bt in 140 grain for the .270. They worked very well in my 7mm rem mag. They work well at normal elk range for most of us. BTY they are on sale at Cabelas. At least they were last night. Also picked up CCI primers on sale too. Bob.

I used a 140 grain trophy bonded bear claw. Did an awesome job on my last 2 animals being a 5 pt elk and a bull moose.
