What kind of speeds and barrel length are you getting with those 142's? Wondering what I could expect from the 145 MB and a 18-20" barrel.
I can tell you with a 25" barrel and 145 MB I was getting 2875 fps with no pressure signs using Ramshot Hunter. That was during the spring, when temps got over 90-95 degrees all of the sudden I had high pressure. It could have been temps, or it could have been carbon ring. I cleaned the barrel and I still had hard bolt lift so I stopped using RS Hunter during the summer. However my fire forming loads averaged 2730 fps and I can tell you they were fun to shoot. I used .330 G7 and it was pretty close out to 1200 yards.

Our 260 Ack is on a model seven and likes h 4350 over a 127 lrx at 2990 in a 23" barrel. This combo has accounted for 12 critters in the last two seasons including four bull elk (two at 505 yards), mule deer bucks, pronghorn bucks, and a mt lion.

Every time I start daydreaming about a new rifle, my conclusion is: why would I ever need more?

Very capable round, fairly easy to tune and brass lasts a long time.

How do you guys think the 260 AI would do in a 16.5"-17" barrel with 130s? Or now after reading this thread maybe I should mess with some 100 NBTs?

I’m running a 20” factory bergara barrel that was a 6.5 creedmoor that I had rechambered to 260 ai, It’s shooting the Berger 130 vld target with Imr 4350and a cci 250 at 2950 with no pressure signs

That is what I was hoping to hear. Hoping to touch 2800 or so with 130 TMK, ELD-M, or HVLD. Thank you very much!
