22LR - scope?

The Weaver 2-7x28mm RF scope was a good one...about $200 a decade ago. Really like it, very good glass. Not sure its made any more. Have Leupold 4.5-14x40mm with AO and Varmint Hunter reticules on my two Cooper rimfires. Also have an ancient Leupold 8X40mm w/AO on a beautiful 10-22 sporter with the nicest factory wood I've seen (Timney trigger and Shilen sporter barrel too).

For what it’s worth, I just put a Burris Droptine 3-9 on my Ruger 10/22 a week ago and have been impressed so far for $120 scope. Only about 50 rounds through it tho.

I would personally put the matching scope to whatever you have on your primary hunting rifle. You then have a training rifle as well.
