22lr Handguns-Reviews, Recommendations, and Trouble Shooting

Anyone install a TandomKross trigger in their tx22?

Maybe my expectations were too high. I maxed out the pretravel and it still seems like a lot.

I mean it's definitely better than oem. But maybe only a 50% improvement with the lighter trigger spring.

I tried a friends TK trigger in his tx22 when I still had one. It sucked less than factory, still sucked.

Finished off another 2000 22LR with the hammerli.
Total round count is now about 3100.

Field stripped today: wear patterns look ok to me.
Let me know if you guys see anything worrisome. The ejector has a small amount of play, but no failures to eject.

I ordered a replacement spring to have on hand. It gave me a chance to compare spring compression. Looks like I’ve lost about a coil of pre-load.

In summary, I’m happy with the gun. It is not giving any issues. I’ll probably pick up another when they go on sale for $200 again.

I have a Sig P322 that I am obsessed with... it has a SilencerCo Sparrow and a streamlight on the front, I also upgraded to a Holosun red dot.

I shoot it 4 or 5 days a week off the back porch... steel out to 50yds off the back. It's unbelievable. I can shoot 3'' groups at 40yds (good as I can shoot) It's killed a ton of stuff trapping and doing some varmint control, and I always carry it deer hunting or archery hunting for a squirrel or grouse freebie.

and it shoots basically everything decent. My only real gripe is it will only cycle Subs if it's extremely clean, like under 200rds at a time.

other than that, it's a perfect pistol.

I also have a 1911-22 Generic cheapo that I shoot a lot as well, just not as much.

Man, that is gloriously nasty on the inside, super cool to see it still running like a machine.

Dig back a bit into this thread and find discussion of @43.6N 's homebrew lubricant, how and where to apply, etc. That should give you quite a bit more reliability with the subs. If that doesn't work, try the rimfire remedy from cherry balms. Really lightweight greases are where it's at with gun reliability.
