Does anyone happen to have book data for 223 loads using the Privi BTHP 75g or the barnes 62g TTSX and BL-c2 or Varget? I can't find any in my Hornady book or the Hogdon website. I know the 62gr copper is not a 1 for 1 swap with a lead bullet so the load data for lead 62gr would not apply here. Happy to buy a book if someone can point me toward a useful one.

I would try and find the BULLET manufacturers load data on those.

It drives me crazy how bullet manufacturers only show the best powders, and powder manufacturers only show the best bullets.

Now that hodgon owns most of the powder companies their website data has improved alot. 10 years ago it showed only a few bullets per powder. It still has gaps though.

Yeah, that seems to be the approach. Privi has nothing that I can find. Would it be safe to substitute other 75g hpbt data?

If your using copper bullets its going to be tricky because they are longer than lead for the same mass. This affects chamber pressure. I know copper is a trend lately, but ive always stuck with hornady interlocks and speer hotcors. My results speak for themselves.

The privi 75gs are a regular hpbt, only the Barnes are copper.

Impressive harvest!

Yes, you can use data for other 75 grain bullets as a starting point for your Privi BTHP. Just be sure to start with a lower powder charge and work up to find your max.

Youve kind if lost me with prvi. What made you pick this bullet? There are lots of high end bullets made in the us. Ive never seen unloaded privi bullets for sale. I have seen their ppu rifle line ammunition in the gas stations here. Why not just load a sierra game king or hornady eldx? Im not trying to be difficult. But if you take the time to work them up in loads and they stop importing them you will be out time and money for a bullet that was not readily available in the first place. Im not trying to be difficult.
