I have a Tikka that shoots really really well with a factory load I like. I’d like to cut and suppress it. If done correctly, what’re the odds that it won’t shoot that load as well as it does now? Is the idea that chopping a barrel could ruin accuracy yet another internet farce?

I just had every rifle in my safe but down to 20 inches. They all still shoot the same loads with similar accuracy.
