I’ll be honest. I can hit 3000fps with a 75gr Amax from a 26” barrel 223. I’ll only be able to prime the brass once because the pockets get extremely loose with that load, but I hit 3000fps. 3100? Umm…

I used the unthreaded hole, but I don’t see a way to fit a sportsmatch ring between it and the bolt…

Based on a pin here, the bolt won’t clear/function. What are you doing differently?

Maybe swapping ring locations and using the front at the rear so you can insert the pin in the mount too?

You could drill a hole in the rear base to accommodate the pin, then have pin front and rear.

The whole reason everyone uses the rear pin method is to get the maximum scope flexibility and eye relief

This was my work around for a tikka/scope combo that I thought needed a axial stop where the integrated sportsmatch pin won’t work. Screw came from a mount I’m not using.
