It's taken me several years to convince some of my shooting partners to use and buy a tikka t3x in 223. Along with this, ive tried to install the principals that are taught in the shoot2hunt classes, with mixed results as some "old school" guys are still stuck in that mentality. BUT i'm slowly making progress.
Today, one of the recent converts made a 798 yard shot on a rockchuck with a factory tikka 223, 77 tmk, maven rs 1.2, although it did have a rokstok. 3 shots with the shooter/spotter dialog in 20 mph winds.....it was epic. (Elkhunter777 on the slide)
This is our annual week-long rockchuck safari which is in our 24th year.
