I'm jealous that people used to find Hornady 73 ELDm for $12/box.. Seen it for $18-19 online lately at the cheapest and it shoots awesome in my t3x lite.

Australian Outback branded ADI (55 SBK or 69 SMK) used to be the cats ass and the brass was great for $0.50/ea. The current ADI branded of the same can still be had cheap but my tikka does not like the 69 SMK anymore and the brass is no longer as good as the old stuff. 55 SBK still shoots well and has been on sale for $0.60/ea lately.

I have some of the cheap AAC (palmetto state armory) 77 SMK and 75 hpbt ammo. The 75s shoot better out of my tikka, maybe a step below the ADI 55 SBK.

I just picked up a River American ranch rifle in 556, use Hornady frontier 75gr ammo in it with no issues. In fact, the accuracy has been quite pleasant.

75 grain freedom/hornady shoots pretty good in my tikka.

The cheapest bulk match ammo I’ve gotten is from PSA: AAC 5.56 77gr. currently $10.99 a box. Their .223 75gr. is $11.99 if you’re concerned about chamber pressure. Bolt rifles should be more accurate than semiautomatic but every barrel is a bit different.

I saw that, you can’t hardly reload for less than that, I just bought a bunch of 75 bthp bullets though. I wonder how the AAC bullets shoot and if they’ll ever sell components.

I just ordered some of the AAC 77 gr. I have a bunch of GMM 77 gr. It will be interesting to see how they compare. I have a bunch of Black Hills 77 gr, too.

It shoots pretty good. I don’t think they sell the components.
I shoot some matches with one of their execs, and I’m 99% sure he told me the 77s are SMKs.

I think it has to be an AAC bullet or a blem, otherwise I think they would have listed the bullet manufacturer.
