In the past when loading 77gr SMK's with H4895 FED 205M gave me the best groups. Along with a light Lee Factory crimp gave me the best ES/SD and groups. I haven't tried it with the new Weatherby Vanguard I got. Saving that powder as it's my last two pounds.

Yup sometimes those barrels just like what they like. I'm about 0.025" off the lands using TAC. Near max loads during the warmer part of summer blew a primer. But just one. I had two slightly harder bolt lifts out of twenty rounds. But the barrel was new and the rest of the rounds were fine with minimal flattening of primers. Sub moa. I'll try again now that temps have started to get cooler.

No, the Waters mag is awesome, I only wish it was available in a 4 round version so it was more flush. The Ascension Industries one does fit flush and so far has been 100% reliable, but is 3d printed, so it may have issues in the future, but fingers crossed!
Are you using the mag spring from tree factory tikka mags? I’d like to find a mag spring to use in my Ascension Industries Mag’s without disassembling my factories.

If you find a source for springs let me know. I have three of the ascension mags but only one spring.

Same here. I found a place selling Remington mag springs that I thought about trying. Haven’t gotten around to it.
I was hoping there was a source for Tikka springs.

The Ascension mags are quite good, I’ve been impressed, just wished they shipped with a spring…..

I took the SWFA 6X off my .223 Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian and put on a SWFA 10X yesterday. So far the TAC load of 23.0 gr is averaging 2690 fps. I was hitting steel out to 800 yards during sighting in. Impact velocities around 1470 fps, but man it sure makes the steel ring. The fixed 6X went on the Howa Superlite. Unfortunately I didn't have time to reload for it.

I also acquired some H335 since it's readily available in my area. I'll try some out with the 80 ELDM's... hopefully soon.

H335 was too fast for me when I tried it. I went to RL15 with great results. I’ve been using lever for years now and save the 15(what’s left of it) for other chamberings. That’s in 223 and 223AI and 75amax

Yes I know H335 is on the fast side, but it does produce some accurate loads. RL15, Lever, Varget isn't that easy to get in my area. Whereas I got this H335 for 33 bucks a pound. If it doesn't produce good 75gr-80gr loads I can use it for my supply of 53gr vmax's.

I havent seen 15 in a long time here either. Lever and varget shows up but varget is high and I never end up using it anyway.
