22 LR Pistol Recommendations

I like my Ruger for all purpose needs and it’s very accurate but am looking for a more compact, suppressor ready gun as well.

I have had a P22 for years and like the size but accuracy is not great. I’m considering a SR22 or a Glock 44.

I have a buckmark, put a threaded barrel on it so I can shoot it suppressed, it’s nice but I would rather take a ruger mark IV all day! I also have a walther pk22 which is fun but a heavy little guy for how small it is. Makes you feel like James Bond when you are snuffing a grouse

I ended up going with an FN 502 and Dead Air RXD22Ti. Combo weighs in at 30.8 oz with a loaded 10 round magazine. I brought the suppressor home today and am very pleased so far. It's quiet with standard velocity rounds and super quiet with subsonics. I'll be adding a light and (maybe) a red dot.

I LOVE my P322, have had it for two years, put a holosun, TLR-7, and a silencerco sparrow on it.it has become by FAR my most used firearm.

and the Cole-Tac chest rig makes packing most suppressed 22's a cinch...

Thanks for the tip. I just ordered a Cole-Tac chest holster.

I have a Walther PPQ 22 that I like. full size feel, 12rd mags, good trigger, ambi slide release, swappable mag release, comes with a thread adapter though I dont have a suppressor so IDK if the sights see over one.

its been very reliable so far.

Bumpin this SOB as I really want a little suppressed 22 for dispatching trap catches and being able to shoot quietly in my yard.

Thoughts on 3" barreled silencershop special vs standard Lite model mark IV 22/45? A couple inches shorter might be nice. Not sure if that impacts accuracy or function at all.

Glock 44. Darn thing runs anything reliably. Threaded barrels are cheap.
Same frame as a Glock 19 which is in my CC rotation.

I got the threaded/pic rail 22/45 you can find for $300ish multiple places online with a 4.4” barrel, and it shoots pretty decent. The shorter barreled one would probably be more handy, especially suppressed, but not sure that’s worth the price difference. To actually make a 22 pistol quiet, you’d need a 4.5-5” suppressor though

Where are you seeing them for $300ish?!
