Not to derail to much, but is there a supressor that can handle 22LR/22MAG as well as 223/556? Thanks.
The TB is rated for the 22 mag, 17 HMR, and 5.7x28. A rep told me it will handle .223, but they don’t recommend it.

You definitely want a model you can disassemble and clean if shooting rimfire through it. If you plan on using it on a .223, I would find a .223 can you can take apart.

That was my line of thinking.

I have a Gemtech Alpine for .22 mag, .22lr, and 17hmr. It gets swapped out between 4 different plinkers. It’s about 10 years old and has over a few thousand rounds through it. Comes apart easy but can be a little time consuming to clean. I’m actually surprised it hasn’t had a baffle strike or failure yet with some of the cheap subsonic crap it has cycled.

How do you clean it? I’d like to avoid making the “dip” because I don’t want to deal with the disposal of lead acetate. Some people say soak in CLR.

How do you clean your rimfire can? I’m fairly new to this and have a few hundred rounds through my banish 22.

Assuming you have Ti baffles, I run my baffles in the ultrasonic cleaner for a few cycles, then use a brush to scrub. I'll be trying CLR next though. I have a Form 1 can, but will be getting a TBAC TD22 soon.

The TB TD22 unscrews and has 9 (if memory serves) baffles inside. I soak mine in a bore solvent and scrub them with a copper brush. Then I just reassemble. Pretty simple.
