I’ve used Varget, Leverevolution and 4350 with 62 and 88 ELD.

29.2 Varget with 62 is very accurate. 4350 had fantastic ES with the 88. Case was filled to the top.

Lever had better velocities but sucked for accuracy.

All shot in AR 20”.
What sort of velocities were you getting on the 62+Varget? Ever try H4895 or any other slightly faster powders

Actually a 90 gr A-Tip out of a 224 Grendel/22ARC AR will outperform a 6 GT.
You're saying a case with 34.5gr capacity will outperform a case with 44.5gr capacity? A 6gt will run a 110 atip around 2900-2950 very easily. Let's not get crazy here, you're statement is very incorrect. I shoot 22gt as well, it'll run 90atips up around 3100-3200 depending on barrel length.

It’s not incorrect at all, and not crazy. That’s info straight from my rifle builder, and not just talk, but rather actual shooting experience.

You're rifle builder is wrong as well. 10gr of powder capacity difference, think about it. You sound like Richard Sherman claiming is 2gr case improvement netted him 250fps. That's the same as saying a 22bra with 41gr capacity will outperform a 22cm with 51gr capacity.

He’s not wrong, he’s 100% correct. I’m sorry that hurts your feelings.

I've been shooting a 22 grendel which is a 22arc, loaded as long as I can get 77s in asc mags, for 4 years now, so I know what this cartridge will do. I've also shot prob 15k rounds of 6gt and 4k rds 22gt, I have real world experience. You have nothing other than what some guy told you. You're deceived, I'm done.

Running a
7twist 90gr 2925fps
and a 7.5twist 110 a tip at 2900 26” bbls.

In a 10mph 3cl wind the 110s show to have 2.5” less drift at 1000yds 49” vs 51.5”

Not taking sides, just throwing that out there from my AB program.

I’m shooting a 22 ARC in a gas gun, 18” barrel, 77TMK, RL17 powder.

That makes me really want to turn my 6.5 Grendel CZ into a 22 ARC. That's over 200 fps faster than what I'm seeing from the BH 77tmk ammo.

With that velocity, it brings your 1800fps threshold to 575 yards and your 1600 fps threshold to 700 yards. If a barrel saw accuracy at that speed, you're looking at the ultimate truck gun.

You’re very confident, but I’m uncertain why as you’re clearly wrong on any level I’d measure it at. With all things being equal (bullet type, barrel length, optimal powder selection, comparable pressure) the 22 ARC is ballisticly slightly behind in every way.

If I could find a 12”-ish barrel my 6.5 Grendel would become a 22 ARC fa sho. Patiently waiting
Six Sigma Arms sells custom 6arc/6.5 grendel barrels down to 12.5” with matched bolts from lilja. They might be able to do 22arc as well if you email them
