Ruger American Target .22 mag suppressed. I had a matching .22lr, but let somebody talk me out of it.

Ruger 77/22, this is one of the ones that for a period Ruger threaded the barrel into the receiver instead of using the v-block and set screws. This one is cut to 18” and threaded, usually has a TBAC 22 takedown on it.

I like rimfires....

Bergara B14-R .22 setup for NRL22
Savage B22mag great shooting gun
10/22 charger that I SBR'd to take deer hunting over corn for squirrels
Just ordered a tikka t1x.... because I like .22s

Got about a 1/2 dozen more but these are the go too.
They are also all threaded and I swap the suppressor around

I have T1X in .22 LR. I really, really like it.

I don't understand why they don't make one in .22 Mag.

I have actually contemplated buying one in .17HMR and rebarreling it to .22 Mag but I know, as soon as I do, they will off at factory one.

I also have contemplated the getting a T1X and having the barrel turned down/lightened and putting iron sites on it.

With an optic mounted it weighs exactly the same as my T3X hunting rifles, which is cool but that is on the heavy side for what I like on a squirrel rifle. A lighter barrel and aperture sights (or a red dot) would make it an awesome squirrel rifle.

Anyone have or shot the Springfield 22 lr? I just looked at a woodstocked model yesterday. Nice looking and full size rifle.

Ya my buddy has t1x with the 20" barrel and likes it alot. I ordered a 16" since I have a suppressor just makes it easier to carry around in the brush.

I used the savage 22mag all last year and it has a laminated wood stock so it's pretty heavy.

When I ordered my tikka they had a bergara bmr carbon 22 mag. It was stupid light and he was gonna give me a deal. Told him if it's there in 2 months I'll take it.

Anybody shoot the tactical solutions 10/22 rifles? I was considering just a barrel for my ruger 10/22 but decided I'd like to leave it alone as it was a gift when I was young. The tac sol options seemed reasonably priced, as I've seen them on sale multiple times.
I ordered one today. I ditched my t1x to buy the tacsol. I got one with a hogue stock. It had a lot of options I was looking for: uses 10/22 mags, extended mag release, canted rail, nice barrel, threaded barrel. I like the hogue stocks I’ve used on my buddies 10/22 so I figure this rifle should be solid.

I’ll throw my tract 3-9 rimfire scope on it and I grabbed some decent rings for it. This will primarily be used for winter/spring ptarmigan hunting with my snow mobile, lll shoot it supressed with my dead air mask 22.

I have that exact same rifle, but not threaded for a silencer (yet). I got it back in ~ 2016 and long ago lost count of how many small game animals it took over the years. I need to just bite the bullet and send it into LRI to get threaded.

Shot my tacsol today, huge upgrade over my t1x. I like the magazines better and the gun just feels better to me. It will be really nice to not have to get off target while ptarmigan hunting where judging distance can be super tough.

T1x was a great gun but I don’t see goi g back to it after getting this tacsol. In fact, I’m already looking at getting another tacsol.

I have a Ruger American 22 mag farmers edition. Ruger American 17 hmr. Winchester 94 22 mag. Henry classic 22 with shorts. My trapping/ meat getter. A H & R 760 22 cal. They also call it single shot auto load. Load it shoot it. Bolt kicks back. And throw the hull out and bolt stays open.

How do you like that Ruger American 22? I just ordered one with a 16” barrel and a built in scope rail. It was like 400.00 shipped, I had a cheap vortex rimfire scope and some rings just laying around so I figured WTH.

Seems like it will make a decent truck gun for grouse and cranes and whatever.
