208 gr .308 eld m, 300 prc load

Has anyone used the 208gr eldm in a 300 prc, it seems to be a solid bullet for velocity and bc! Also has anyone used this particular bullet for hunting?

I just threw a quick load together with H1000 and the 208 ELDM. Shoots 2800 out of my 22” 300 PRC and holds MOA or better at 300 yards (farthest I can shoot at my local range). Based on how the ELDM has performed in other cartridges (22 Creed, 6 Creed, 6.5 PRC), I’d have no worries using the 208 on game.

I have a 24” 300 prc was thinking of doing retumbo. Ive seen the 147 eldm do some damage so figured this would be the same.

What was your powder charge to get 2800fps, and what brass?

Lapua brass, first firing. I’d need to confirm my notes, but pretty sure I was at 78 grains of H1000.
