2026 Weight Loss Thread

I always get a bit out of shape over the winter, generally ditch workouts in Oct and dont pick them back up until Jan. This year have only been home about 15 days total due to work travel so just getting started late.

Probably sitting around 14-15% body fat right now (6'2 165) and want it back in the 11-12% range so need to swap around 4-5 lbs of fat for muscle. Figure thats about 60-90 days max to do both.

5/20 192.6 -18.2

Only down .6 since 5/5 but 5/7 started kids spring break. Had a 3D archery shoot where we camped and ate and drank beer. Me and the wife had a one night getaway. Took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge. I finished that week up several pounds and I’ve been at it hard this week to combat those pounds. Next stop 189

Sunday weigh in day..

3/22/26 - 228.8, down 44.2 pounds in just a day over 90 days.

My wife asked me if I was going to post before and after self pics. I wasn’t initially because of how gross I look at 273 pounds - basically a fat blob. But maybe there can be something positive gained from it so when I hit my goal of 200 pounds or whatever I way as of June 1st - I’ll post a before and after pic. May be interesting seeing what 65-75 pounds difference looks like in a photo.

i'll hop in. 6'0 29 years old and hit my biggest at 267 a few weeks ago. I decided enough is enough. im also wanting to get out west and hunt and it sure would be easier being 50 pounds lighter. Goal weight is 220 by my 30th birthday at the end of October. Currently down about 5 pounds in 2 weeks. Can't complain!

i'll hop in.
I was in about the exact same spot as you a couple years ago. 6'2" and weighed in at 265. Lost the 65lbs and it changed my life for the better. You can do it! Now im back up a little so im gonna hop on this thread, its good to have some accountability for when the seeds of doubt get in your head.
Current: 6'2" @ 212lbs
goals:
Compete (and beat my friends) in a mini triathlon in July
Sept. body weight @ 195lb.

Sunday Morning weigh in

4/5/26 - 224.8 - Down 48.2 since 12/20…

Not Much new other than just the same old routine trying to knock off 2-3 pounds a week. Mentally it seems these last 25 pounds are going to way tougher than the first 50…🤷‍♂️

Man, you all have put up some impressive figures in here. It takes a heck of a lot of determination and commitment to do what you've done. Keep up the great work.

Weekend weigh in
4/12/26 - 223.5 - just a few ounces away from 50 pounds lost since 12/20.

I thought the number would be a bit lower but nothing I can do than keep attacking it each day. I probably did have a few extra bad calories this week when I really think about it.
