I also have not gotten anything in the mail. Have any successful nonresident deer or elk hunters gotten their tag in the mail?

They are quick to take money, but anything else is very slow.

Well leftover list is out and there seem to be a fair share left. Did that many people not buy their tags or did Idaho screw up the draw process and not originally draw out all their tags?

I was wondering the same thing. There’s some good units that are left.

Probably just added a few extra tags to the good units to keep the hype going another month or 2.

That many people didn’t buy their tags, one need look no further than the top tier controlled hunt tags that end up making it to the 2nd draw in August each year to know it would happen. I imagine there is a non zero percentage of those that are playing under the assumption IDFG automatically charges for the tag upon drawing.
