2025 Whitetail Meatpole

My first ever buck with a bow. Spooked on a local wma a few nights before and came back on a hunch. He came in to about 15 yards.

Not my deer but my 7yo was bound and determined to shoot a deer this fall. We were out of town most of the weekend during our youth weekend. Snuck in a late hunt Sunday and im glad we did. His first ever hunt as the shooter and he takes a doe and then 30 minutes later this buck steps out. Two great shots and he has a first hunt of a lifetime. Proud Dad moment for sure.

Edit: 73 elds may be overkill for whitetails...
