Interesting European stock company. They released Tikka and are doing REM 700 soon.

31 ounce chassis stock. 21 ounce hunter. Prices weren’t bad.

The chassis had carbon fiber ARCA.
I haven’t used arca before, but Carbon fiber arca built into the stock doesn’t sound like a long term solution? Surely there is enough clamping force to tear it up after a while right?

MDT hnt26, been using one for a few years, as long the arca clamp tension is adjustable, you can get it set properly. I have found no issues with carbon arca. My sample is only one chassis tho.

Not sure chassis vs stock matters so maybe it’s fine. Probably a good idea to be mindful of your tension and clamping force

I know on my picatinny setup with my atlas/adm I have it set pretty tight

I really want to know the weight of that new folding manners stock and if it comes in a tikka inlet.
It was just shy of 32oz w/o bottom metal and with the fixed comb. They mentioned some production changes compared to the models they had on the floor, so the final weight may change as well. Not sure on Tikka inlet.

did I miss it or was there a company name for this carbon chassis to look for further info? Thanks for sharing

Do you ever clamp it to your tripod, throw the tripod over your shoulder and have the rifle hanging only connected by the clamp?

I started doing it coyote hunting and do it big game hunting sometimes. Curious if the carbon holds up under those types of conditions?

I'm hoping for some new factory 400 Legend ammo. I don't reload, and currently Winchester has the only two options. A Soft Point and a XP bullet.

Read from Remington they're loading their Core-Lokt into a 400 Legend.

Was hoping Hornady would make some other flavors, maybe SST or GMX option? Just have some variety.

Outlier Rifle Micro Action
Haven’t seen much on this but looks super intriguing. Rear receiver is serialized unit like Ar, bolt head spaces off barrel extension like Ar, and then the barrel jacket acts like a reflex for the suppressor. In theory should be able to change into any action length you want (chassis dependent) and looks like bolt heads are swapable too.

It's been hard to find good shot show stuff on YouTube this year for some reason. The arken/outlier action is odd, but maybe I'm missing something about it. Their concept for the barrel and suppressor is pretty cool. I like what ive seen from mdt. I see a lss gen 3 in my future. Athlon xero copy is neat. maybe it will get garmin and Labrador off their high horse with their pricing. Also saw a possible bolt gun/ action from PSA, aero leverguns, and the tikka ace rifles. I think the ace will be a hit. Especially once they get the aics bottom released. Maybe I'll be able to turn up some more cool stuff with some searching tomorrow.

I'm really interested in the LSS gen 3. I've tried to figure out how what the lightest configuration I could get it to. I think the LSS gen 3 backbone with a smokes composites carbon stock non-folder and the carbon fiber forend could get pretty close to the HNT26.
