Interesting European stock company. They released Tikka and are doing REM 700 soon.

31 ounce chassis stock. 21 ounce hunter. Prices weren’t bad.

The chassis had carbon fiber ARCA.
I haven’t used arca before, but Carbon fiber arca built into the stock doesn’t sound like a long term solution? Surely there is enough clamping force to tear it up after a while right?

MDT hnt26, been using one for a few years, as long the arca clamp tension is adjustable, you can get it set properly. I have found no issues with carbon arca. My sample is only one chassis tho.

Not sure chassis vs stock matters so maybe it’s fine. Probably a good idea to be mindful of your tension and clamping force

I know on my picatinny setup with my atlas/adm I have it set pretty tight

I really want to know the weight of that new folding manners stock and if it comes in a tikka inlet.
It was just shy of 32oz w/o bottom metal and with the fixed comb. They mentioned some production changes compared to the models they had on the floor, so the final weight may change as well. Not sure on Tikka inlet.

Do you ever clamp it to your tripod, throw the tripod over your shoulder and have the rifle hanging only connected by the clamp?

I started doing it coyote hunting and do it big game hunting sometimes. Curious if the carbon holds up under those types of conditions?
