2025 NRL Hunter

Don’t sweat on the 147 vs 140. Just pick what shoots better in your gun and roll with it. Definitely want 6.5 CM over 6.5 PRC. Recoil control is huge in the sport.

As for bags, i tend to game a bit. I like to have a sand fill Schmedium GameChanger for shooting off barricades and then a lighter weight GameChanger with git lite or similar for the rear. I don’t love sand for rear support but it is no doubt the best for front support.
Thanks, are you running the git-lite in an OG or another schmedium? Thought about trying the new X version. Plan on testing the 147 and 140s Friday to see what shoots best, I know 140s are sub MOA.

I'll be up there as well. My teammate and I are running the 147's together so we have the same wind calls in 6.5 CM at 2700ish. The 140's were borderline meeting power factor down here without pushing them hard where as the 147's meet PF easily. One less thing to worry about.

Whatever you decide on, practice with it in the clock. I personally like simplicity because I become retarded as 50 IQ point drop out my ass when the time starts.
The clock has magical powers. Doing some friendly competition at the range the clock will get to you. 2700 for 147's is pretty good velocity, what length barrel are you running?

24" proof cf. I have another node at 2750ish well under pressure and have had it up to 2800 but I do not find extra speed really gets me anything but headaches. I'm more interested in the widest node and easiest load.
I am waiting to see what load my buddy end up with and we will then pick nodes similar to each other for ease of dope. This will be my first NRL Hunter but I have a fair bit of experience with PRS (centerfire) and NRL 22.

That makes more sense. Only asking cause one of the loads I had for a 26" barrel ran right around 2680-2700 I think.

I have mine in a Schmedium but i do think I’d like it in the slightly bigger OG more

Roll call for Belt/Defiance Anti-Social this weekend. Let me know if you're going to be there, would be happy to meet some regional roksliders.

I've shot two regional PRS matches this year, but this will be my first NRL/two-day match and third match overall.

Weather is looking decent.
Thanks for stopping to say hi. It was great meeting you.

How did it go for you?

Up and down! Which is what I expect/deserve with where I am at as a shooter. A fun time for sure.

Interesting note, my Leica geovid pros w/ AB+ "lost zero" when I dropped them on stage 16 which totally effed up 17. All I had to do was re-pair my profile via bluetooth, but no idea what profile it switched to due to the drop.

Congrats on your great weekend!

That is weird about the binos. I've never thought about drop testing those.

I keep hearing about one day NRL matches. Does anyone have any information on these?

I've seen people say to watch Facebook, but there's like five Facebook pages that all seem to be substantially the same and I haven't seen any one day matches.

RF binos seem to be a delicate thing. I've owned 3 different pairs and all 3 have had to go in for warranty with what I'd consider very light use. Leica HDB 2000 and HDB 2200 both shit the bed when it approached freezing temps. Now my Kilo 10k g2 have an audible clicking and binding feel when you turn the focus wheel.
