2025 Blacktail Bucks

This was my first season deer hunting and big game hunting overall. Was beyond thrilled to take this ol' boy in Oregon's Cascade mountains. He was west of the Cascade crest, but close enough to the crest that I'm sure he would be called a benchleg and not a pure blacktail. He looks puny compared to the bucks in the muley thread so I'm posting here.

Does anyone want to make a guestimate of what the blacktail/muley ratio on this guy is? Tail looks more like muley to me. I apologize that the photos aren't great; I was solo and knew I had a long night ahead of me butchering him and getting back to camp.

My daughter and I caught this guy slipping through the burnt timber here in western Oregon. She was able to slip that little 6.5prc Berger right in the sweet spot.
