I have nothing against Silencer Central (they are cutting threads on two more of my rifles right now), but that .22 suppressor is the short version. It’s not the one they make that is really good. A lot of people don’t like it at all.

There are several suppressors that are better hunting cans than the Backcountry.

Same thing every year, got what I needed last year, almost worth paying full price to not deal with that frustration

MDT website worked just fine yesterday afternoon but probably with less availability. Mag availability seemed good still. Took all the resistance I had to not get an ACC gen 2 for a tikka at $500.

+1 on MDT working fine, at least in getting some magazines. With the various Black Friday sales, between MDTs mag discounts, MBX, Henning, and Staccato, I saved almost $400 on magazines and parts yesterday. This, clearly, is a sign of sickness...coming of age during the Clinton-era magazine bans, unable to get them, and hording them when I could the way a Depression-era survivor horded food and silver...

The SC CEO stated that lobbying language from SC was during the Biden administration when they were trying to support directing NFA money to states (vs general treasury) in support of suppressors and conservation while lobbying for HPA. He said the same thing about trying to direct these funds to

Listening to him on both of these podcasts, he seems pretty clear he's figthing for suppressor/2A rights. Not affiliated with SC or anything else, just sharing info as seems like SC is quite pro suppressors/2A based on this. Welcome to learn more if someone has different/better info.
