First mule deer hunt was a success. Learned so much from lurking these forums, so thanks! Lots of scouting paid off and got it done on opening morning. 155 yards and gave me all day to get steady. Happy with my first ever mule deer!

Found this guy with a group of does this evening. He was showing good rut activity already. 180 yards, 127 grain Barnes LRX, 6.5
