2024 OFFICIAL ELK MEAT POLE

Wyoming 9/23. First elk after five years of hunting them. Day 8 of a 10 day trip with my best friend. After multiple opportunities in the previous days and striking out, we worked into a nearby area where we suspected them to be bedding. Working in and we spotted him standing in the open in a mess of a deadfall. I Shot him at 1:17pm and worked down to where he fell as my friend was coming down to me. I turned around after confirming he was dead and my friend is telling me to be quiet and came to full draw. Unbeknownst to me, a cow had worked in near where my bull fell. My buddy shot and took his first elk at 1:51pm. Spent this morning packing out both of them. Unforgettable trip. Congrats to you all.

North Idaho 2024 was memorable once again. I killed a bull within the first hour of our 12 day hunt. We hunted this particular bull last year. My brother flew in to hunt for 3 days and killed his first bull with a bow within half an hour of hunting. Despite many close call over the 12 days, my dad wasn’t able to punch his tag. It’s a game of inches. Incredible year and headed back to PA with lots of memories.

First elk ever for my daughter. 10-yard shot and she dropped him.
I can't tell you how proud I was of her. One of the most memorable hunts I have ever been on bar none. We are still in shock as to how it all went down. A special thanks to the man who helped make this hunt happen. Thanks so much John.
