Thanks for taking the time to write this up. It's fun to follow along! Great bucks!!

Those tall bucks with that narrow tall shape will surprise you on the score sheet.

We made it to our hunting area in WA on Friday about noon. Set camp up and the headed out to see what we could find. Blue Tungue has hit this area bad in the previous years so we haven't been seeing the nearly as many whitetails as we used to.

Friday evening we went up to a high point to glass and we ended up seeing a few whitetails, but no bucks.

Saturday morning we drove over to a neighboring ranch and hiked all over while glassing and we ended up only seeing one whitetail doe and a really little buck.

Dylan and I headed back over to where we saw the deer Friday night and decided to hike down to and edge and look into the bottom since the wind was blowing pretty good. We found a few does and then eventually a little buck. We had at shot at him but there was a farm house way in the distance so we passed and he walked off.

We went back to the same area last night and we saw the little buck come over a hill toward us and the into a draw that would take him down toward where we saw him earlier. We wouldn't have visibility of him until he was close to 700 yards so I grabbed my rattle antlers and smashed them together for a couple minutes. A little while later he came back out the top of the draw and headed our way, looking around. Dylan was ready and made a great shot at 275 yards.

I'm going to do some glassing this morning to see what I can find and then we'll pack everything up and head home.
