Me too. I have a hard enough time finding the targets at Seth's PRS matches when he tell me where they're at.

This link to the rules spells everything out fairly well.

Rules - NRL Hunter

5. Skills Division is for anyone that wishes to compete at a NRL HUNTER match purely for the experience. There will be a discounted match entrance fee. Skills Division hunters may use any rifle weight or caliber that they choose that does not exceed .30 caliber or 3275fps. Skills Division hunters do not need to meet the minimum Power Factor (PF) requirements. Skills Division hunters may be coached on the clock after they have had the opportunity to try the stage on their own. Skills Division hunters will not be competing for points or the opportunity for awards, or prizes.
Thank you I missed it on their website

For guys who have shot NRL hunter matches, should I expect to lose some brass
Yes. Although if you talk with the guys running behind you at all, most will pick up brass as they find it, even if it's not theirs and see if it is anybody's in front of them. You might consider a defining colored sharpie mark on yours somewhere.

Reading this thread makes me want to go shoot the skills division to get some experience shooting off my new tripod. Equal drive between the Oregon and Washington matches so looks like I’m going to both!

Anyone going to the Mountain Home Idaho Match have a better description of where the match is held? Mile Marker 19 of Simco Rd doesn't show up on any map I can find.

Anyone know if its 19 miles from the north (Highway) or from the south (rt 167)?

This will be my first NRL match and I don't want to be bombing up and down that road the morning of looking for it.

Thanks!

Last year was right here.

They are very good about sending information and locations before the match. You'll get details about a week before. Don't wait to book a room if you intend to stay in Mountain Home. The two hotels book fast.

That's not it. Follow the directions that Seth sends out. It's right outside of Mt Home close to the base. Go down Simco road to the specified mile marker. There will be a 2 track dirt road heading out to the desert. Go down it. The road sucks and could possibly be muddy, since we currently have snow that could melt. The 2 track will fork, stay to the right. PM me if you need more details.

I assume he is talking about the 1 day match that is this coming weekend. It is not at the hammet location in your pin that the 2 day matches have been in the past. Also, I don't believe the 2 day match in April this year is going to be there either - I think they have a new venue picked out for that.

Turn east off of Simco RD, by Milepost 19, and go 1.5 miles on the 2 track road to the match location. The 19 miles should be from the north side. From the Mt Home side, it's significantly shorter.
