Still have my Utah tag I will go on the extended. But first year of Dedicated I don’t really want to kill in Utah this year.

I drew a late season tag here in eastern Washington. I shot this guy the second day. He broke a few times taking a dive off the rocky outcropping behind me. I was pretty grateful to have my goats with me on this solo trip.

Hiked a lot of miles and glassed for hours. Glassed up 18 different bucks until I found this guy. I was going to pass him up as I still had a couple more days to hunt. But I'm glad I made the right choice! Couldn't have asked for better weather.

My son and I did our first mule deer hunt together, CO 3rd rifle DIY. He tagged out on morning #1 and I followed on morning #2. Our first muleys and we couldn't be happier. Met a couple of great guys out there, Sean and Josh helping Sean's daughter. Hope they found one for her before they left.

First Mule Deer on a general tag in NE Montana. This was my first time hunting in Montana. Got him on public land at roughly 400 yards with a 25-06.
