2023 Blacktail Success Thread

Norcal. Shot at about 70 yards while still hunting just after sunset.

The amount of nonsense I’ve seen this year has really soured me on rifle season.. and it has only been a week. Next year I’ll definitely hunt bow season as hard as I can

Got lucky on my last day able to hunt A zone. He was bedded in the shade and deadfall when I found him so I did not notice all the extra character until after I shot him and his head finally turned sideways . Time to find a taxidermist!

Some excellent bucks gang!!! Tough acts to follow with the beautiful alpine Sitka BT to some tanks of Cali bucks!!

I will be starting day after tomorrow, and I’m really looking forward to looking for bucks… I love this time of year
