2023 Wyoming Buck

2023 Western Nebraska muley. Set up on an ambush spot on a trail intersection, walked right to me 16 yard frontal, went 10 yards. Best part my wife was sitting with me! Pretty memorable hunt!

First muley. 4x4 found hiding up above 12k. Took a tumble down a cliff and got beat up a bit unfortunately. Scenery was amazing.

Our son being born on 20 August threw a wrench in my 2023 hunting plans. At 6 weeks old we decided to take him on his first hunting trip. 30 minutes after setting up camp, I located a buck taking an afternoon snooze in the shade below a rock ledge. It ended up being one of the coolest archery shots I’ve taken, and a memorable first hunt with the kid along.
