That’s a great picture. I love the excitement on her face. Congrats to both of you!

On the board with my first bear. This nice sow stepped out on an elk hunt and it immediately turned into a bear hunt. 1500ft and 1.5 miles later, I was within 80yds before putting the 30-06 to work. Awesome animal, great hide, and even better meat.

My parents visited this fall and offered to watch our kids while the wife and I went on a hunt. We hiked up into the alpine and both got bears in 2 days. Hers was at 410 yrds with a 6.5 prc. Mine was at 220 yards with a 338 win mag.

Moose season didn’t go as planned this year, no legal bulls the whole week we were out. But the evening before we pulled out of camp I managed to put a stalk on another nice black bear so it didn’t turn out bad. 340 yards with a 338 win mag.

Nice shooting. I have to get real close

Congrats! I’m on the board with an Idaho spring bear, and am looking for a fat berry eating Washington bear to add another.
Nice! I'm hoping to get on the board in Idaho after my dad and I got our first Colorado elk. Best of luck.
