It seems that there are so many minor changes, product updates, etc. That I can’t seem to make sense of the latest and greatest in the sub 2 pound sitting-only tripod market.

Seems like it comes down to the now, exclusive Slik 624 Pro CF from S&S Archery vs the Sirui T024sk. The web is so convoluted with conflicting information and outdated reviews.

Is there anything else new and note worthy out there?? What legs are less than 2 pounds and worth looking into?

Outdoorsmans compact is right at 32 oz. The old "medium" had only one leg extension so it did not get so compact shrunk down, but I love that thing. The new medium one though is over your 2lb limit.

I have the 624 with the RRS BPC-16 head, entire package comes in under 2lbs and is great for 10/12x binos and smaller spotters. Used it for 3 years, still happy with it.
