My WY general tag bull from this year. Had a great year during archery, passed on a lot of decent bulls chasing a couple giants. Went into an old honey hole i took a big bull out of 4 years ago deep in the backcountry for rifle and couldn't say no to this bull. Solo trip with my horses.

Opening day ID bull.
Watched a spike and eight cows for about an hour and just before last legal shooting light Mr. Loudmouth showed up with his harem.
First herd bull for me, not a monster, but he darn sure thought he was one.
The tired neighbor's have bitched about this guy bugling all night for the last month.

Pulled a ball of loose barbed wire off of his horns, he was lucky to get this far.

Opening day success in Selway!

My first time there (first time hunting in ID period). Boy that unit was everything it was advertised to be. Steep as hell, brutal, rugged, and full of wolves, lions, and bears.

Had one of my closest buddies right there with me, he and I served in the Marines together. What a special memory!

Glad I didn't pass up this bull because we didn't see another one the rest of the week.

Had an amazing couple days in Idaho. My dad helped me spot my first ever bull elk and my mom was there also to see the shot and help with the pack out. Then 2 days later my mom takes the biggest bull of her life. Unfortunately I was back in Wyoming chasing elk on my General tag and didn't get to see the shot but I made it over to help pack out as soon as I got the news. Can't beat it for 2 public land DIY bulls. Can't wait to draw the tag again some day so I can chase them again in that country. In the meantime I'll try to find a bull in Wyoming.
