Killed my bear in Manitoba last week,had a great time.
It was estimated at 300,not bad for a bow kill,I'm very happy with it.
Caught some nice walleyes to.

Finally got one with my bow!! Not the best shot I’ve made but definitely the best tracking I have had to do. I am just glad the WKR didn’t get it when I had to leave it overnight after bumping it out if it’s bed. One of the down sides of living in Idaho I guess!!! Only got pictures after it was skinned and the second picture is of it’s bed.

It was a much slower year for us than usual. I'm guessing the amount of snow we had that lasted into the beginning June could be to blame. We still managed to shoot three bears on the last two days of hunting. So no complaints here. Two were with a suppressed 300 blackout, making that over a dozen bears with the little cartridge in the last few years. Even found a bullet base laying on the ground next to one of the bears.

I sure like the idea of having a suppressor, not blowing your ears out. I wish it was a little easier to get them, of course I don't have a rifle with a threaded barrel. Your setup sounds great for a bait station!

I only hunt suppressed anymore. The main reason I started buying suppressors, is because I hunt and shoot with my daughter most of the time. I didn't want her to have bad hearing like me. I've since noticed plenty of other benefits to hunting suppressed, like shooting multiple animals in a group because they aren't really spooked.
