Nice work, I never thought to pressure can meat.My first bear. A young male. Pressure canned all the meat, it is delicious.
I sure like the idea of having a suppressor, not blowing your ears out. I wish it was a little easier to get them, of course I don't have a rifle with a threaded barrel. Your setup sounds great for a bait station! It was a much slower year for us than usual. I'm guessing the amount of snow we had that lasted into the beginning June could be to blame. We still managed to shoot three bears on the last two days of hunting. So no complaints here. Two were with a suppressed 300 blackout, making that over a dozen bears with the little cartridge in the last few years. Even found a bullet base laying on the ground next to one of the bears.
I only hunt suppressed anymore. The main reason I started buying suppressors, is because I hunt and shoot with my daughter most of the time. I didn't want her to have bad hearing like me. I've since noticed plenty of other benefits to hunting suppressed, like shooting multiple animals in a group because they aren't really spooked.I sure like the idea of having a suppressor, not blowing your ears out.
