My 2021 Oregon buck taken yesterday early afternoon. Not a huge buck but an OK one for this unit which with the dry conditions was pretty tough this year. Also, this was a 2nd season tag so guessing some of the better bucks where taken. But had a fun hunt and happy to find this guy - and he was an easy pack out so even better

Buck down! 32 hours in a blind plus 7 evenings of spot and stalk (while waiting for blind to arrive) - these dudes straight up are tough with a bow! Just love it when a shot breaks perfectly and you can see 'em laying within sight from where you shot.

Oh, just out my backdoor in Wyoming. Pulled a tag close to home so I didn't burn any vacation to chase goats with my bow.

NM Youth Hunt. 585 yard shot and 270 yard shot. Not bad for two 9 year old girls. It was a blast. Made for some awesome green chili cheese bratwurst too!

Thanks! My daughter wasn’t interested in hunting whatsoever until she was 7. Out of the blue she said she wanted to hunt deer and it was all downhill from there. Her and her friend have both been hunting since they were 7 and have quite a few kills under their belts. They have a NM Mule Deer Youth Hunt coming up in November that should be awesome.
