Lancaster has this on sale for 700. I just cracked a limb on my Hoyt Defiant and I shoot 250 spine Vaps so I think I need another 80 pounder. Anyone know why this is on sale, and would you buy it?

This is my take on Obsession; I have a Turmoil RZ, great shooting bow, very smooth, easy to shoot. Obsession never seems to get close to their claimed IBO speeds. Mine is rated at 350 but in reality is about 325. Obsession is also having some issues as to whether they will be around in the future. There is info about it on Archerytalk. Basically, production has ceased yet they are still selling inventory. Based on the instability of the company, I would shy away from them. Just my opinion.

They build a nice bow. Easy to tune, can make most adjustments without a press, shoot nice, quiet, smooth drawing, etc. They are totally FOS when it comes to speeds, however, which is very off putting to most people. Hopefully they can get it sold to a company that will put forth the effort to rebuild the brand.

I loved my Obsession K 34. Probably the best now I have ever owned, very forgiving. Great valley and back wall. I would have no issue owning another Obsession hopefully all works out for them

I have an older pre Arcus Evolution and mine tracked out spot on to 350 FPS. Great bow. Don’t hunt with it mostly on account I prefer a string stop bow over a limb stop.

If they are being sold off,I’d try to get it cheaper.

Ditto! The CNC Shuttle T's are better than the terrible Black Ops. I still can't find a head that is more forgiving to a Shuttle T or A-Tac. They just seem to always hit where I aim.
