Arrow spine far weaker than 3rivers calculator recommends, but arrows fly great.

Just like a rifle will tell you which bullet it likes best, your bow will tell you which arrow it likes. Shoot that one and don't worry about online calculators. 3 Rivers calculator has never been close for any of my setups.

In my experience the carbon arrow charts for trad bows are way off. I shoot a 29" long 600 spine with 145 grain points. The recurve pulls 46 lbs at my 28" draw length. I paper tune my arrows so I KNOW it is properly spined. My cousin has similar experience and also shoots 600 spine carbons from his recurve.

If it's working and you are confident that's all that matters. I have a buddy of mine uses 500 spine in his 57# recurves he builds and they fly like freaking darts and blow through elk. Again, use that stuff as a guideline and not gospel. What works for someone else might not work for you and visa versa. If they shoot great, fly great and you have 100% confidence, go kill stuff and have fun.
