This Saturday was an exciting day for my husband and I. His bull mount got to come home. This was a special hunt for both of us as he was harvested in a general unit not known for big elk. Had him measured at the B&C headquarters and his coolest feature is his fronts which measured in at 18 7/8 and 20 6/8 respectively. I'm excited to see what new adventures this fall brings!IMG_2493.jpegIMG_2521.jpegIMG_2523.jpeg

Congrats. Great bull. Looks like a fairly young bull to my eyesl. Did you have him aged?

Not officially the person who scored it thought he was really old because he carried a lot of mass but didn’t have very long backs or beam length. ivories we’re almost non existent, but I don’t know how old he was. This picture shows it a lot better than the mount. My husband has extremely large hands.

This picture with your husband really shows the mass! Love it. Sounds like he was pretty old.
