This is my wife and I with her first ever kill. It was amazing watching her go from never shooting a bow to executing a perfect shot on this guy at 13 yards. She was only pulling 42 lbs, so we knew we had to call him in close and wait for a perfect broadside. She double lunged him and he ran less than 100 yards. This was definitely one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had in the elk woods. Now I just need to go fill my tag.
