2017 Nevada Desert Bighorn Hunt, day-by-day videos

In November 2017 a good friend, Mike Spitzer, asked us to take our cameras and follow him and friends as he searched for a special ram in a unit he drew in central Nevada. Thankful Mike let us impose on this self-guided public land sheep hunt that I will probably never get to experience myself, even with 20+ points in Arizona and New Mexico. Mike has been on many of our episodes and he seems to be reward for the remarkable patience he exhibits.

Thanks to Mike and all of the crew that allowed us to impose on them during this hunt. A 45 minute version is being edited for Amazon and a later YouTube condensed version. It is also part of a sheep conservation film that we are doing for the Wild Sheep Foundation. To increase your draw odds, do what you can to put more sheep on the mountain.

Enjoyed watching the hunt unfold. Have a ewe tag this year and look forward to being in sheep country. I'm sure the experience will be different but will still be a first for me.
