2016 Xpedition

I may be biased, but they offer a bow for whatever a guy likes. I like that they have slimmed the line a bit. I also like that they realize they make a nice bow and have refined and stuck with it for more then one year. Most guys are like me and don't buy a bow every year, so a "new" bow every year doesn't float my boat.

I really do think they offer the best bow on the market today, and that single cam is pretty good going of stats alone.

I'm interested in shooting the solo cam, but not sure if I was to buy another bow if I would just get another X7, or or one of the other offerings. The last time I wasn't in the market for a bow I shot the X7 and promptly sold off my bows and some misc gear and ordered one! :)

I like that they are keeping the line up simple and not trying to do too much as a new company. Too many times new companies try and get to radical year after year instead of sticking to what works. The new bow fills a small niche for them. It's not going to be a huge seller for them and they know that. I also like the new color options. They look pretty slick.

I really wanted to see Xpedition come out with something different in a two cam bow this year, maybe revamp the X Ring. Honestly, I think they missed the boat entirely with this new bow. Your not going to get bow of the year again with a single cam or the same bow as last year. Dropping ABB strings was a mistake as well. My $0.02

I see some good and bad.

The good first. I like the fact that they didn't basically scrap their line then make some minor changes and new name and feed everyone a new line of bull shit. Read Hoyt.
Also good...max1 will look decent if they have it fused on the whole bow , I don't know if that's the case.

The bad. A single cam? WTF who the hell wants an single cam any more...they been obsolete since we had modern string materials. There is no reason to own one. Secondly a single cam at 1050? Really ? Sorry but if there are some low information buyers looking for a single cam bow they are probably going to gravitate to more entry level brands and models....in the 500-650 range.
On the string change...I have no idea who the new maker is, never heard of them...I guess that could be good or bad.
The new target color patten bull crap...octagons or some thing...big deal.

Looks like Xpedition got some left over from the golden boy, I can see if they have a few releases like this over the next few year they may cut him loose when they wake up and find they are getting sloppy ....filling in the blank.
