Congratulations, beautiful ram! I know that anytime you're hunting the truly wild places, although it's your goal to killing something, when you do, it can almost be anticlimactic. It's great that you've got a dedicated hunting partner and a goal to get him a ram next year.

Tikka T3 Superlite. Later on in the thread there is a description of how I set up mine. It's nearly identical to Brock's. I couldn't be happier with this rifle for what I do.

I couldn't agree more on the rifle. I killed a bear at 200, a buck at 450 and a bull at 541 with mine this year. Awesome gun.
