You guys did good, those are awesome bulls. I'm going to have to come check out your Rambler, I like the looks of them.
 
Thanks everyone! My brother and I hunted our butts off for the last three weeks.
Justin gets home late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning, calls me at 8am Thursday and picks me up shortly after and we go up to help a buddy pack a bull out. We get close to where we think he is and we stop and listen for a whistle or something. Justin says "I think I smell elk". I turned to him and said "no, that's you man". We both had a good laugh. Whole Lotta elk in a few days! Nice work to you two!

Yeah, packing out three bulls in four days was a lot! It's been a great year for all of us so far.

How did the body size compare to other build you've hunted?

The body sizes was pretty much the same as other big bulls we've packed out.
 
My buddy killed one just south of there in Oregon, that was the biggest bodied rocky mtn elk I've ever seen.

I always wondered if they had some Rosie in them...
