I have had a Burris Veracity 3-15 on my .300win since 2015, and I really like the scope. I always held off for shots at distance and know which yardage each one of the BDC recticle corresponds to.
That being said, this scope is supposed to have a zero stop, which I had ever used. I decided I wanted to order a custom turret and have the option to hold off, or use the custom dial to click off to the desired yardage. Seems simple enough, but I cannot get the zero stop to work. I have followed the instructions provided, and I don't know what I am doing wrong.
I have called and emailed Burris 6-7 times. They have provided the worst customer service I have ever received, i initially sent 3 emails over a 3 month period, the same email sent over and over, before I ever got a response, and then the responses were terrible. One was you must have go the MAD turret, you need the regular, the other was, this scope does not appear to have a Zero stop. It is literally in the manual and on the product description it does.
This has been beyond frustrating. I have really enjoyed the quality of this scope for the price, but would now never consider buying another Burris product based solely on my experience with their customer service.
Does anyone have any insight? any help would be appreciated. attached are some pictures for reference.
