2015 Burris Veracity Zero Stop Issues

I have had a Burris Veracity 3-15 on my .300win since 2015, and I really like the scope. I always held off for shots at distance and know which yardage each one of the BDC recticle corresponds to.

That being said, this scope is supposed to have a zero stop, which I had ever used. I decided I wanted to order a custom turret and have the option to hold off, or use the custom dial to click off to the desired yardage. Seems simple enough, but I cannot get the zero stop to work. I have followed the instructions provided, and I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I have called and emailed Burris 6-7 times. They have provided the worst customer service I have ever received, i initially sent 3 emails over a 3 month period, the same email sent over and over, before I ever got a response, and then the responses were terrible. One was you must have go the MAD turret, you need the regular, the other was, this scope does not appear to have a Zero stop. It is literally in the manual and on the product description it does.

This has been beyond frustrating. I have really enjoyed the quality of this scope for the price, but would now never consider buying another Burris product based solely on my experience with their customer service.

Does anyone have any insight? any help would be appreciated. attached are some pictures for reference.

I’m looking at one of these for my 300. What was done to resolve the problem?

Nothing, apparently a few months after i bought mine they made zero stop standard, with mine it’s just a zero “marker” that you rotate to your zero, it does not hold said zero

I like the glass and the performance, i could wholeheartedly say it was the worst customer service i experienced, several different answers and took 3 months to reply to me at all

It holds the zero you just can dial past where it was zeroed. You can make a zero stop using either shims or nylon washers but may negate any warranty. Dont know if i would be twisting dials on that scope any way

From what i understand, how they explained it to me, it marks were the zero is, but the elevation turret can still be freely turned in either direction, there is no stop, to get back to zero you would turn the turret back to the zero mark you designated.

Are you saying that i can rotate past the zero mark and it will not lower the elevation setting?

I am saying holding zero and dialing past zero are two different things. what they told you is correct . You know if dialed 15 moa you need to go back down to where your zero lines up. Now i dont know how many minutes that scopes has per revolution but you say its twelve you go one full rev go to three on the dial and bang. Now you just do the opposite and back to your zero. thats if it will actually return to zero consistently.
