2014 enlightened equipment Enigma 20* extra long/wide

Northern Idaho in May? Should be nice and wet if it's anything like the Northern Idaho I will be in this May... I might wait and see what your results are, only a couple week wait when ordering so that shouldn't be a big deal. I look forward to your results and I am praying for rain (while you are there :) , that way you can test out the DT! And praying for sunshine and plenty of gobbling birds while I am there!

I'll be using my EE treated down on Kodiak this October. Doesn't get much wetter then Kodiak in October so it should be a good test.
Actually, now that I think about it, POW and the Ketchikan area are probably wetter than Kodiak in October, but you get the point.

Maybe I should just loan it to Luke to take with him this week for a test run. :)

HAHA I'm taking a standard EE Rev X with regular 850 this week.

POW is a wet SOB. The problem really is when it is wet and not blowing much the humidity is through the roof and in a single wall tipi condensation is on EVERYTHING and nothing really dries out. Had I been in a double wall tent on that trip my down bag wouldn't have lost its loft nearly as fast I think. But at that poitn you could argue that a Tipi and syn bag is as light or lighter than a down bag and a double wall...oh the conundrums. How did the guys 100 years ago ever survive these horrible problems. :D

No offense to anyone here but 100 years ago men, and women and children to be fair, were a different level of tough.

(Sent from my smart tappy device while I sit in climate control watching basketball, eating food prepared for me and drinks poured for me :D )

850 down tech for my enigma.

Watch out for those old ladies! They can be persistent with quite an appetite and they like rolling around with "outdoorsy" guys for a taste of the "wild side". Or is that what you were referring to when talking about riding a buffalo?
