2012-2015 Leica Trinovids

I am referring to the non HD model. Any feedback on their performance? I found a birding site that had them ranked right on the heels of the Ultravid. Another birding site said they were the top of heap for the Entry Premium Binocs. That sounds good, but how are they as a hunting binocular

If they are good enough for birders they are good enough for hunters if they have the power you want. Birders are usually a picky bunch.

Supposedly, they are the same glass and diopter built in to a plastic body and assembled in Portugal.

The Trinovid (2012-2015) was essentially the same optics as the Ultravid. The Trinovid HD that was released last year is a step down from that. The Trinovid is an excellent binocular that would be right up there with a Swarovski SLC and can be found used for under $1,000.00

They are solid. Definitely not a plastic Body. Built like ultra vids. I have a pair of 10x42, I may sell just because I ordered a set of demo Geovid. Search the forum. Plenty of reviews on them.
