Has anyone loaded for the xbolt 2 20” 7PRC?

I’m trying to load some rounds up to take hunting and am relatively short on time. I’ll get out to the range tomorrow to test out whatever I load up, then tomorrow evening I’ll load some hunting rounds if I find a suitable load.

I’ve got a rough estimate of where the lands are (used the loctite trick) as I don’t have a Hornady modified case for 7prc yet.. and found a COAL of 3.362” to get a 50 thou jump to the lands with the 160cx.

My plan: H4831, 160gr Hornady CX, new ADG brass, and federal 215 magnum primers.

I plan to just load up 5x5 shot groups in the 60-62.5ish grains range.

Wondering what’s worked for anyone else?

I dont have your gun, but Im currently loading 64.5gr H4831sc, with 180gr Lapua Scenar-L in a 22in barrel getting a tad over 2800fps. Haven't hit pressure yet so will be testing more. I'd imagine you'd be able to increase your charge range using the 160cx.

Hornady as since lowered their load data charges since 1st coming out with 7PRC data, so keep that in mind.

Loaded up some at 61.5, 62.5, and 63.5gr.

First group (5 shots) was around 1.2” at 100, with about 2-3 minutes between shots.

Second group was the best at .66 MOA with around 60 seconds between shots. (5-10 minutes between groups.)

Third group (63.5) started to open up a bit.
